Cleaning & Care

Follow the care label supplied with this rug first. Its backing, dyes and fibre blend may require more specific treatment than general material advice.

For this polypropylene rug, the pile and backing are just as important as the fibre when choosing a cleaning method.

• Vacuum regularly with low suction and a suction-only head. Avoid rotating brushes, beater bars and vacuuming over fringes.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry, light-coloured absorbent cloth. Do not rub or scrub.
• Only if the care label permits spot cleaning, test a mild rug-safe cleaner on a hidden area and apply sparingly with a cloth. Do not pour cleaner onto the rug or saturate the backing.
• Avoid bleach and concentrated household cleaners. Let any permitted damp spot treatment dry fully with airflow before use.
• Do not assume this rug can be machine washed, steamed, hosed down or tumble dried. Use those methods only when expressly permitted by its care label.
• For deep cleaning or persistent stains, use a professional rug cleaner and provide the full fibre and backing details.
