HELP WITH YOUR CHOICE

Modern rugs: choose a design that fits your room

Start with your furniture layout, then compare a modern rug by colour, pattern scale and texture. A subtle design can connect existing furnishings; a bolder pattern can become the focal point.

How do I choose a modern living room rug?

Mark the rug outline around your sofa and chairs before choosing a pattern. Compare product close-ups with room photographs, and check whether the main design will remain visible beneath your coffee table.

What should I compare besides the design?

Check fibre composition, pile height, backing and care instructions. Choose the actual size variant you need before comparing prices; the same rug can have different prices and stock across sizes.

Before ordering, review delivery eligibility and timing and returns and exchanges.

Modern Rugs Australia for Contemporary Homes

Shop modern rugs online for Australian homes in abstract, geometric and understated designs. Compare colours, textures and practical sizes for living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas, with choices across wool and easy-care synthetic constructions depending on the range.

For many compact lounge settings, 160×230 cm is a practical starting point, while 200×290 cm and 240×330 cm can give larger seating areas more coverage. For generous open-plan rooms, explore extra-large sizes such as 280×380 cm and 300×400 cm where available. Use our Rug Size Guide to compare layouts before ordering.

Shop related modern rug categories: Abstract Rugs, Grey Rugs, Beige Rugs, Wool Rugs, Polypropylene Rugs, Large Rugs, Extra Large Rugs, 300×400 Rugs, or browse all rug collections.
